Responsible metal detecting across Hull and East Yorkshire, focused on local heritage, respectful land access, community events, and preserving history for future generations.
Humber Heritage Metal Detecting was established to create a responsible, community-focused detecting group serving Hull, the Humber region, and East Yorkshire.
We promote respectful land access, proper hole recovery, PAS reporting, Treasure Act compliance, and responsible behaviour on every permission.
Our club exists to help preserve and better understand the rich history beneath the fields, farmland, and landscapes of East Yorkshire and the Humber.
We organise relaxed detecting events for responsible hobbyists while supporting local communities, landowners, and selected charitable causes.
We understand that allowing access to private land requires trust and accountability.
“Metal detecting done properly helps preserve local history, strengthen rural relationships, and responsibly record finds that may otherwise remain lost forever.”
Humber Heritage Metal DetectingOrganised digs and future club events across the Humber region and East Yorkshire.
We are currently establishing local permissions and preparing our first official Humber Heritage club detecting events.
We are actively building relationships with landowners and estates across Hull and East Yorkshire.
